Rose is a graduate of the Southern School of Natural Therapies and holds a Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Chinese Medicine. She also holds a Diploma of Canonical Chinese Medicine issued by the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine (ICEAM). Her services include acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Rose’s experience includes community work in drug and alcohol rehabilitation and work in the clinic of Annalise Drok, who specializes Chinese medicine gynaecology.
Rose’s passion for Chinese medicine grew from a curiosity about the nature of true health and complete wellbeing. Her interest lies in tracing disease back to its root, whether it be in difficult life circumstances or relationships, shock or trauma, past illnesses, environmental influences or dietary imbalances, and aims to work with her clients towards lasting change in their lives. Rose’s practice is a blend of diligent research into ancient Chinese medicine and an intuitive response to the client.
Rose treats a broad spectrum of illness including colds and flu, chronic disorders (chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia), hormonal imbalances, gastro-intestinal disorders, skin conditions (acne and eczema), emotional conditions (depression, anxiety and insomnia)and gynaecological disorders.
Rose is a member of the growing Insight Meditation community in Melbourne, and Buddhist principles enhance her practice.
